WordPressのテーマの1つであるK2。このサイトをよく見ます。
別運営のBlogのテーマに使っていて、現在のver.0.95だとトップページが表示できないのでβ版を利用しているのでこまめにチェックしないといけないという理由からです。

そこにWordPress2.2の文字。結構前にリリースされてたんですね・・・。リリースは5/16みたいですね＾＾；

何がかわったかというとWidgetsがデフォルトになったくらいしか理解できませんでしたｗ

Goodies:

This functionality was originally available as a plugin Widgets are now included by default in the core code, significantly cleaned up, and enabled for the default themes.

* We now protect you from activating a plugin or editing a file that will break your blog.
* Core plugin and filter speed optimizations should make everything feel a bit more snappy and lighter on your server.
* We’ve added a hook for WYSIWYG support in a future version of Safari.

あとはBloggerからインポートできるよとか、WYSIWYGがSafariで使えるようにするとか？実際触ってみないとよくわかりませんｗ

とうことでMEのver.2.2が早く出ないかなぁと思っているしだいであります。

先日の記事で、ウィジェットがうまく動かないということを書きましたが、どうやら、このテーマのみでうまくいかないようです。

他のウィジェット対応テーマを使うと、[最近の投稿]や[メタ情報]が二重に表示されると言うことはありませんでした。
つまり、どこかかぶってる箇所を修正してやればいいわけだと思うのですが、まったく持ってわかりません。

widgets.phpをいじって、Standard Widgetsの「function widget_meta」以下と「function widget_recent_entries」以下を削除してむりくりテーマのスタイルを残してみましたが、二重に表示されることはなくなり一見大丈夫かな？と思いましたがフィードをクリックするとエラーが出てしまいました。

結局、苦肉の策としてfuzzy recent postsというウィジェットを入れてごまかしてます。メタ情報は表示しないということにして・・・。コレでテーマのスタイルが適用できればいいのだけど・・・。

先日、入手した現在のテーマWP-Multiflex-3 Themeがウィジェットに対応しているということで、ウィジェット用のプラグインSidebar Widgets Plugin（日本語）をインストールして、いざ並べ替え！と思いきや、利用できるウィジェットの中に、ダブっているものがある。

[Recent Posts] と[最近の投稿]、[Meta]と[メタ情報]・・・どちらか一方をセットすると、もれなくもう一方も表示されてしまう。こいつらの情報はいったいどのファイルに記載されているのか？探してなんとかしないといけません。

思いのほかウィジェットの使い方なんかの解説サイトが少ないってことに驚きました・・・。
ウィジェットがある程度使いこなせるようになったら、テーマはウィジェット対応のものを選んでいけば着せ替えもラクになると思われ。
